First Time at the Nashville Fall Festival? What to Know
For a first visit to the Nashville Fall Festival, plan two to three hours, come earlier in the day to beat the crowds, and wear closed-toe shoes for the grass. Most of the farm — corn maze, sunflower field, pumpkin patch with a free pumpkin, petting zoo, and free hayrides — is included with admission, with a few optional paid extras.
What is included vs. what costs extra
Admission covers most of the farm. A few extras are optional:
- Included: corn maze, 7-acre sunflower field, pumpkin patch with a free pumpkin, petting zoo, river walk, lawn games, weekend live music, and free hayrides.
- Extra: pony rides ($10), sunflower jar pick ($10, or $20 for a tote), hot air balloon ($25, select days), and additional pumpkins from the Pumpkin Shop.
When to come
Saturdays are busiest and can back up near the entrance in the afternoon. Friday afternoon and Sunday are calmer, and arriving earlier in the day means shorter lines. Online tickets are not date-specific, so you can come any open day.
What to bring
Closed-toe shoes for the grass, cash and a card (most vendors take both), and a camera for the sunflower field. Leashed, well-behaved dogs are welcome, and the festival runs rain or shine — only the hot air balloon depends on weather.
